The rule engine

Four parts. You decide what flags and what halts.

Pick a field, an operator, a value and a severity.

A warn flags the row through; a block halts the export.

Example rule

IF Price is empty → BLOCK "Missing price"

Warnings can be acknowledged once; blockers must be resolved in the model.

A blank price gives the part away free.

Unresolved ?? colour Block

An unresolved ?? colour would order an unbuildable part.

Duplicate component name Warn

Usually a mislabelled copy — flag, don't halt.

Zero quantity Block

Qty 0 is dead weight — stopped at the gate.

Markup below 10% Warn

Often a forgotten override — worth a second look.
